Empowering Education in Belize: Partnering with Shelton Presbyterian Youth Group

That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with the incredible Shelton Presbyterian Youth Group as they prepare for their upcoming service trip to Belmopan, Belize. This inspiring group is on a mission to provide much-needed laptops and Chromebooks to schools and teachers, ensuring that students have the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital world.

A Mission Rooted in Service

The Shelton Presbyterian Youth Group, led by their dedicated Youth Pastor Marcus Clifton, is no stranger to making a difference. In 2023, they identified a critical need for computers in schools during their first project in Belize. Now, they’re returning from June 17 to June 26, 2025, with an even greater goal: equipping two schools with Chromebooks for computer labs and laptops for teachers. And if they can secure additional devices, they’ll extend their support to a third school, amplifying their impact even further.

Fundraising with Heart (and a Beard!)

What makes this effort even more special is the heartfelt dedication behind it. To raise the money needed for this project, the Youth Pastor took on a creative challenge: shaving his beard for the first time since joining the church if the fundraising goal was met. This unique and personal fundraiser not only brought smiles to the community but also demonstrated the group’s commitment to their mission. And now, with their goal achieved, they’re ready to make a real difference.

Our Role in Supporting the Cause

When the Youth Pastor reached out to us, we knew this was a partnership we couldn’t pass up.
